Dear Karval Online Parents/Guardians:
All Colorado public schools will be administering the CSAP (Colorado Student Assessment Program) exam to 3rd - 10th grade students. Karval Online Education, along with all Colorado public schools, is required by law to administer these tests to all 3rd -10th grade students.
In the following links below, you may download and print documents pertaining to your testing site, including: 1) Registration/Emergency Contact form, 2) Site Dates and Directions, 3) Site Daily Testing Schedules. Please note that as I receive testing schedules from other online schools or changes become available, those items will be updated on the links.
Several of the online schools in Colorado are working together in order to provide numerous CSAP testing sites for Colorado's online students. The CSAP facility at which your child will be testing was sent to you via email. The student will be taking the test at the grade level in which Karval Online has them currently enrolled and as stated on the student's report card.
On the day of CSAP testing, please bring the following:
- Sack lunch including drink and a snack
- A book or magazine to read (no music devices allowed during testing)
- Several graphite based, No. 2, wood pencils (no others acceptable), and a good eraser
- 9th and 10th grade students can use a calculator in Session 3 of mathematics only. The calculator can only be a basic four-function, scientific, or graphing calculator.
- CSAP Registration form with emergency contact names and phone number (bring with you to the testing site)
- NO SMOKING ALLOWED!
It is imperative that all of our students take the exams at their assigned location as the books and supplies for the student will be at that location!
Upon enrollment, the Performance Contract was signed agreeing to get your child to state required testing site. Unfortunately, if a student does not complete the required CSAP testing, the will be denied continued enrollment within our district.
